VESPERS, WE THE LIGHT

Vespers, We the Light is a series of lenticular prints depicting a constantly evolving starscape. These prints are created by capturing Petric's generative sculpture, I the Light.

The technique used involves combining multiple frames to create a sense of movement and depth. As a result, this analog print changes based on the viewer's angle, offering a dynamic experience that captures the essence of a journey through the stars.

The generative and interactive sculpture, I the Light, is created using a combination of etched mirrors and lights enclosed in a metal frame. It emulates an intricate and ever-evolving night sky that is in a constant state of change.

Just like the actual universe, the starscape is never repeated, with stars appearing to grow and explode, fade, merge, and continually expand. When individuals interact with the sculpture, their presence is recorded and stored as a memory embedded in the starscape, making it a personal portal into the world of memories written in the stars.
