Reduced Landscapes, Suns with Moons

A light sculpture depicting two intersecting celestial bodies, where the light in the artwork changes its appearance based on the perspective and ambient light.

REDUCED LANDSCAPES, SUNS WITH MOONS

Reduced Landscapes, Suns with Moons is a dynamic light sculpture that uses light and light-sensitive materials to depict two celestial bodies meeting at the same point from the point of view of the observer. Just like in nature, the light in the artwork changes its appearance based on the perspective and ambient light, the same state is never repeated. The optical materials are used to create a sense of depth and provide a different view of the piece depending on the angle of viewing. This piece is part of the Reduced Landscapes series.
